Curriculum Vitae.

Lewis Byron De La Paz builds businesses from the system and UX outward. He is the founder of Bespoke Business Development, a consulting practice, and of ten products that serve as its laboratory: LastAwarded, miya.life, Mnememory, Futurisca, Counterfirm, Kinnomy, Gracekeeps, KindSplit, Kept Plans and the Neural Sector Intelligence. Each was designed, engineered, launched and run by him end to end. Operations and artificial intelligence sit at the center of the work; creative direction and design are how it reaches people.

Lewis Byron De La Paz

Founder · Operator · Technologist · Creative Director

Builds businesses from the system and UX outward. Founder of a consulting practice and of ten software and research products, each designed, engineered, launched and run end to end. Strongest where operations, artificial intelligence and design meet: the cadence and controls a business runs on, the software that carries them, and the brand that makes them legible.

Selected experience

Bespoke Business DevelopmentPresentFounder · Creative Director
  • Built a consulting practice across strategy, brand, build, growth and legal: sixteen named capabilities in five categories, priced on value rather than hours.
  • Designed and engineered the delivery system behind it: diagnostic, business-plan builder with a live financial model, client portal with e-signature, proposal builder, six deliverable studios, finance back office and KPI dashboard.
  • Mapped 267 services into a coverage model used to scope every engagement.
LastAwardedPresentFounder · Product Architect · Engineer
  • Built one system for the whole federal contract, start to finish: find the opportunity, capture it, price and write the bid, win it, run the contract and its agreements, track the money with an audit-ready record, and be ready for the recompete.
  • Designed the ingestion, entity resolution, price-to-win and recompete scoring that turn a dozen government systems into four answers: who buys, who won, what it went for, and what renews next. Twelve public feeds, 83.2M+ awards on record, 1,012 industry codes.
  • Shipped the product, the course, the subscription layer and the public site, for a customer from one person up to a contracts organization with many teams. Public sources only, by design.
miya.lifePresentFounder · Product Designer · Engineer
  • Designed and shipped a personal operating system that consolidates seventy-eight life systems around a native AI assistant.
  • Built money management with live bank sync, family sharing and billing, packaged for the web, as an installable app and for the Microsoft Store. Hundreds of releases in the first months.
MnememoryPresentFounder · Designer · Engineer
  • Founded a mnemonic-first language learning company: ten languages at launch, a keyword image for every word, and a forgetting-curve scheduler held on the server.
  • Built the classroom layer into the same schema: classes, five kinds of assignment, a gradebook and per-word loss reporting.
Kept PlansPresentFounder · Product Designer · Engineer
  • Built a social planning platform around a small refundable hold that turns a group chat into a commitment, with clubs, shared albums and a rating that records turning up rather than rating a person.
KindSplitPresentFounder · Product Designer · Engineer
  • Built an AI counsel for divorce sourced from each state's own rules, with twelve documents drafted from the case and nine kinds of licensed professional bookable by the hour.
GracekeepsPresentFounder · Product Designer · Engineer
  • Built a care platform for the weeks after a death, for caregiving and for leave: five products in one secure app, each plan carrying a trained care specialist.
CounterfirmPresentFounder · Model Architect · Engineer
  • Built an agent-based simulator that turns a company's own files into a model of itself and runs four hundred replications of a scenario in about a tenth of a second.
KinnomyPresentFounder · Designer · Engineer
  • Built a household operating system in six layers, with a parser that turns a plan typed in plain words into the event, the tasks, the list and the costs behind it.
FuturiscaPresentFounder · Model Architect · Engineer
  • Built a world simulator of seven coupled blocks over 238 countries and 54,000 sub-national places, returning 250 clustered futures a run as distributions rather than point estimates.
Neural Sector IntelligencePresentFounder · Research Director · Engineer
  • Built a knowledge map of close to two billion nodes across 113 realms that runs a daily research cycle over ten fronts and publishes a report.
IndependentPresentAuthor · Filmmaker · Client Web Developer
  • Three self-published non-fiction books. Product and short films from script to cut. Rebuilt a fifty-five page client practice site end to end, with transactional mail behind its forms.

§ 02 · Placement
Six lanes · One switch

A body of work this wide is hard to place, so here it is placed. The same record, read once as a hire inside a large organization and once as a partner brought in from outside. Nothing below is aspiration; each line names the thing that already exists and where on this site you can go and check it.

The case for hiring: a person who has already carried an operator's load without an operator's org chart. Every function a team would normally split, this record holds at once, under real deadlines, with the evidence public. What a large company gets is somebody who arrives already fluent in the parts between the boxes.

Already existsA research engine over a knowledge map of close to two billion nodes that runs its own daily cycle and publishes what it finds, plus an assistant native to every system in a live product.

    Creative Direction & Brand

Creative director · Head of brand

Sets the stance and defends it in the room. Turns a positioning document into things people can actually look at, then keeps the system coherent as other hands join it.
